One common concern that guys have is ways to avoid making those critical errors on the first date that prevents ever getting a second date or making a sexual relationship (rather than a friendship).

Well, there are several mistakes a man can make. I want to summarize the most typical ones here. The biggest mistakes guys make on first dates are:

1) Speaking about themselves excessively. Trying to be interesting instead of interested.

2) Not asking questions and not listening enough.

3) Focusing excessively on sex- either overtly or by innuendo.

4) Not employing subtleties enough (What a woman understands)

5) Not establishing sexual flow or interest.

6) Not creating future. (A relationship depends upon future.)

The first mistake that most guys make is that they start the first date and talk everything regarding themselves, sort of strut around telling the girl that he's got this car, and he has got this career and he talks and talks and talks bragging about this and that attempting to impress the girl that he is a good catch.

What a girl sees is a self-centered ego maniac that is not going to be able to take care of her at all, because he isn't serious about her and doesn't listen to what she has to talk about. A bad relationship prospect.

One other way of saying it is that guys try to be interesting. They figure they should be interesting for a girl to be interested in them. Sorry guys, but it does not work exactly that way. You should be interested in the girl, not interesting to get her attention. Did you ever see two interesting persons on a date. It's hilarious! They're both so busy trying to be interesting to the other that neither has time to be considering the other.

If you do not know what We are talking about, think what makes you feel better. A girl who is interested in you? Or a girl who is letting you know how cool she is, how hot she really is, and so on, and all kinds of other interesting factors.

Interesting leads to a lot of rejections and "platonic" friendships incidentally. Girls can be friends with a guy who is really interesting. Why? Girls like to be amused and entertained. Interesting guys are kind of like children to them. An origin of non-sexual amusement and pleasure.
